Marna S. Tucker Receives Award from the Jewish Coalition Against Domestic Abuse
On October 31, 2004, Feldesman Tucker senior partner Marna S. Tucker was honored for her work on behalf of victims of domestic violence. Ms. Tucker was presented with the Barbara Rabkin Eshet Chayil (Woman of Valor) Award by the Jewish Coalition Against Domestic Abuse.
Having co-chaired a task force on domestic violence for the ABA in 1993, and, in 1996, chaired the D.C. Mayor's Commission on Violence Against Women, Ms. Tucker has long been a catalyst for public education efforts around the issue of domestic violence, particularly education efforts aimed at young people so that cycles of violence among generations are finally broken.
