Another Appellate Victory

Feldesman Tucker lawyers Robert Graham and Eugene Fidell put another mark in the win column with a surprise summary reversal in the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit. In Pollard v. United States, an Army Master Sergeant sued the United States and contract health care providers for negligent medical care that led to the death of his wife. The district court in Baltimore had dismissed the United States as a defendant. The case now returns to the lower court for further proceedings. With Robert and Gene on the appeal were Sgt. Pollard’s trial counsel, Lesley Zork, Bruce J. Klores, and Peter R. Masciola.
