Zoë Beckerman Elected to George Washington University’s Board of Trustees

J. Zoë Beckerman, an associate in the health care and federal grants law groups at Feldesman Tucker Leifer Fidell LLP was elected to the George Washington University's Board of Trustees as a Young Alumni Trustee.  Elected to a four-year term beginning July 1, 2006, Zoë's nomination for Recent Alumni Trustee was proffered by the GW Alumni Association, GW's School of Public Health and Health Services and GW's Law School.

"With all of the advice and counsel that Feldesman Tucker gives to non-profit corporate Boards of Trustees, I am excited to walk the walk in addition to talking the talk," said Zoë Beckerman.  "I look forward to helping the University succeed."

Zoë graduated with honors from GW's Law School in 2005, and also earned a certificate from GW's Hirsh Health Law and Policy Program.  She holds an MPH from the University of Michigan (1997) and graduated with honors from the University of Wisconsin in 1993 where she was elected to Phi Beta Kappa.  Zoë has worked in Washington, DC since 1997 in various health care policy roles, including as an analyst with the Kaiser Family Foundation and as a Presidential Management Intern on loan from the NIH to Senator Frist's (R-TN) HELP Subcommittee on Public Health and Safety.
