James (Jim) L. Feldesman, Founder and Senior Partner, has been a champion of the rights of health and human service grantees for over 50 years. He is the primary author of the seminal work on federal grants law, better known as The Federal Grants Management Handbook (Thompson Publishing).

Over the course of his career, Mr. Feldesman has advocated on behalf of Head Start programs, federally qualified health centers (FQHCs) and community action agencies to ensure that these organizations are in the best position to carry out their missions.

A veteran litigator, Mr. Feldesman has successfully represented federal grantees in some of the most important court decisions in the areas of federal grants and health law, including National Family Planning v. Sullivan (1992) and Action, Inc. v. Donovan (1986).
