Wed, 11/28/2012 - 2:00pm - 3:30pm

Individuals’ use of social media has become ubiquitous in our society.  Yet sometimes use of social media to communicate can create liability for employers. The law on these issues takes into account private privacy rights as well as employers’ overarching need to protect themselves, their employees, and the reputation of the organization.  Join us on this webinar to learn about this growing area of the law and what it means for your health center.

By the end of this webinar, you will:

  1. Identify problematic social media situations that could pose challenges for their organization;
  2. Explain what should be in a social media policy; and
  3. Demonstrate knowledge of language in existing social media policies that have been found to be overly broad.
