Marcie Zakheim and Jillanne Schulte Co-Author Geiger Gibson Report on Successful Collaboration Opportunities for FQHCs and Family Planning Clinics

Attorneys Marcie Zakheim and Jillanne Schulte are co-authors on a new report titled, “A Natural Fit: Collaborations Between Community Health Centers and Family Planning Clinics,” published October 19, 2011 by the Geiger Gibson /RCHN Community Health Foundation Research Collaborative at the George Washington University School of Public Health and Health Services. The report offers possible models for building successful collaborations between Federally Qualified Health Centers (FQHCs) and family planning clinics, and explores how these entities can overcome perceived barriers to partnership, resulting in improved access to, and quality of, care for patients of both FQHCs and family planning clinics.
