FTLF’s Managing Partner, Ted Waters brings his decades’ worth of experience to Columbus, OH for FTLF’s Federal Funding Academy.

Join Ted Waters at FTLF’s Federal Funding Academy on August 2 & 3 in Columbus, Ohio, as he shares his decades’ worth of litigation experience and skill during this comprehensive two-day overview of the federal grants system.

Mr. Waters is a recognized national authority in the area of federal grants.  He was recently sought out by national and local media to discuss the Administration’s executive order to withhold grant funds from “sanctuary cities.”  His NPR interview on this subject is here:  Michigan NPR’s Stateside.  Mr. Waters’ op-ed on this topic was published in The Hill as well.

Mr. Waters represents clients in federal courts and administrative bodies all across the country on the many aspects of program requirements, including cost-based reimbursement, governance and the never-ending list of grant administration matters. He routinely provides federal grant management training to diverse audiences and teaches what he believes is the first and only class on federal grants law at the George Washington University School of Law.  He has also taught for over a decade an annual continuing legal education (“CLE”) course on federal grant law for the District of Columbia Bar Association.

Joining Mr. Waters in Columbus are FTLF’s Partner, Scott Sheffler, and guest speaker Jerry Bertrand, as they address the regulatory requirements applicable to the most critical areas of grant management.  The training is suited to recipients managing grants in any federal grant program as well as personnel from nonprofits, local governments, institutions of higher education, and state governments.

We look forward to seeing you in Columbus!

Conference participants can earn up to 14 CPE credits in Specialized Knowledge and Applications.
