Appeals

Feldesman Tucker's Appellate Practice Group is an outgrowth of our substantive specialties. Because of our expertise in these diverse areas, litigants and attorneys frequently call upon us to assist in appellate matters. Whether we serve as lead appellate counsel or as consulting counsel, our clients derive real value from our ability to navigate uncharted waters in the law, as well as to fashion creative legal theories.

The Appellate Practice Group's record of success before both state and federal courts of appeals is a testament to our capacity to deliver results. We have obtained favorable rulings for our clients in appeals involving everything from garden variety business transactions to matters affecting sensitive national policy. Our appellate attorneys have submitted briefs on behalf of amici curiae at all levels of appeal, including the United States Supreme Court. Where attorneys in other firms seek advice or assistance in representing a client on appeal, we can provide rigorous review of briefs and "moot court" services.

Regardless of the scope of our involvement, we consider every appellate case an opportunity not only to advance the client's interests (our highest priority), but also a chance to contribute to the growth of the law. Please click on any of the links below for examples of our appellate work.
