Professional Information:Camellia Jacobs joined the firm in 2004 and practices in the area of Family Law. She is admitted to practice in the District of Columbia, Maryland, and Virginia. Ms. Jacobs is experienced in resolving a variety of domestic issues through negotiation, mediation, and litigation. She has also been trained in Collaborative Law dispute resolution. In addition, Ms. Jacobs has successfully represented clients on appeal before the District of Columbia Court of Appeals and the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland.Upon graduating from American University, Washington College of Law, Ms. Jacobs served as a Motions Clerk for the District of Columbia Court of Appeals. Prior to joining the firm, she practiced as a civil trial lawyer in the areas of civil rights and negligence, where she represented the estates of developmentally disabled wards of the District of Columbia who died as a result of abuse and neglect in the group home system. Ms. Jacobs is fluent in Farsi.
