Jonathan M. Dana
Jonathan Dana is one of two managing partners at Feldesman Tucker Leifer Fidell LLP, where he has practiced domestic relations law since 1986. Jonathan is recognized for his wide-ranging legal ability and expertise and is renowned among his peers for his outstanding ethical standards and commitment to resolving complex legal issues with minimal conflict.
Jonathan is continually recognized as a leader in his field. He has been named in the Washingtonian Magazine's List of Top Family Law Attorneys’ for over a decade. Most recently, his professional peers selected Jonathan for inclusion in Best Lawyers in America and Superlawyers 2010/2011. He is also listed in Who’s Who in America.
Jonathan’s primary goal is to assist his clients in resolving difficult family matters and helping them move forward with their lives in a dignified and respectful manner. During his more than 25 years at the firm, Jonathan has successfully negotiated and litigated countless Family Law cases, involving intricate and emotional issues such as disputed custody and support, domestic violence, and complex property divisions requiring business valuations and analysis of tax consequences. An adept communicator, he resolves cases through negotiation, mediation, litigation, and Collaborative Law, as warranted by the particular circumstances of a case and the client’s individual needs.
Jonathan is a member of the International Academy of Collaborative Professionals and actively engaged in Collaborative practice.
