Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Pervine served as a legal fellow at Emory University’s Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center. In this capacity, she provided analysis and guidance on state and federal health care programs as well as federal funding initiatives that supported state efforts to serve individuals living with Alzheimer’s Disease. Ms. Pervine brings this experience of advising clients on complex regulatory programs and drafting legislative proposals to her work with FTLF’s diverse client base, both within and outside the health care sector.
While pursuing her law degree at Emory University, Ms. Pervine served as an extern with the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), assisting on matters of data sharing agreements and identifying privacy vulnerabilities. Prior to law school, Ms. Pervine also served in the Americorps VISTA program through Communities in Schools of Atlanta where she provided resources and daily support to a Title I elementary school.
