Daryl M. Berke worked as a summer associate in 2015, and joined the firm on a full-time basis upon graduation from Boston University School of Law. As an associate in the Health Law and Federal Grants practice groups, Daryl assists on transactional matters as well as litigation pertaining to managed care, the Medicare and Medicaid programs, the federal anti-kickback and self-referral prohibitions, and the Federal Tort Claims Act.
While attending law school, Daryl served as articles editor for the American Journal of Law & Medicine. He also worked for the Children’s Disability Project at Greater Boston Legal Services, assisting with Supplemental Security Income appeals for low income families of children with disabilities. Prior to law school, Daryl earned a Master Public Health from the Yale School of Public Health, where he focused his studies on health policy and economics. During that time he worked for a Medicare advantage plan on health reform implementation efforts, and for a health care think tank. Daryl’s background allows him to bring an important perspective to assisting clients that provide essential health services to underserved populations.
