At the same time, Marcie utilizes her experience to advocate at the federal level for greater legal and policy flexibility to support the health center program and promote innovation in service delivery. Marcie counsels the National Association of Community Health Centers (NACHC) and provides technical assistance services and advice to various health care providers (including health centers) and provider-based consortia, national and state associations, and public agencies across the country.
Marcie also brings her knowledge directly to the field by furnishing a variety of training and education workshops to NACHC, State and Regional Primary Care Associations, and individual health centers and other providers. Marcie conducts a variety of training programs, seminars, and webinars on issues related to health care governance, implementation and operations, and has written various issues briefs, information bulletins, advisories, manuals and articles on a wide array of health care-related issues.
