“I’m proud to be at a firm known for helping family law clients prepare for their futures.”

Molly McGuinness Saxon

Molly recognizes that divorce is one of the most difficult times of life. Drawing on her undergraduate education in psychology, she not only manages the legal aspects of cases but also offers insight into the emotional issues of family law. In her practice, Molly encourages clients to move beyond their immediate feelings and concentrate on their priorities for the future. Working with clients to identify personal goals, she develops strategies for attaining financial security, spending more time with children, or any other issues that will be important to clients’ success in the years ahead. Whether pursuing negotiation, mediation, or litigation, Molly’s overall objective is to position clients for the best future possible.

A native of the Washington, D.C. area and a graduate of Georgetown University, Molly received her J.D. degree from the University of Florida Levin College of Law. During law school Molly interned with the U.S. Department of Justice and also served as a law clerk at the law firm of Ethridge, Quinn, Kemp, McAuliffe, Rowan & Hartinger. Prior to joining Feldesman Tucker Leifer Fidell LLP, Molly served as the judicial law clerk for the Honorable Joseph M. Quirk of the Montgomery County Circuit Court in the family law rotation. She also was an associate attorney at a Bethesda law firm where she focused on civil litigation. Molly is a member of the bar in Maryland, the District of Columbia, as well as the U.S. District Court of Maryland.  Molly lives in Washington, D.C. with her husband and children.  In her free time, she enjoys cooking, trying new restaurants and exploring our Nation’s Capital with her family.
