A seasoned litigator, Ms. Pava is well-versed in guiding clients through complex litigation matters in federal and state courts. In addition to her litigation expertise, she represents organizations in healthcare and other industries in responding to civil investigative demands and federal subpoenas. Additionally, she advises clients on regulatory matters and requirements and works with organizations to mitigate compliance risk through internal investigations. While she strives to help businesses avoid litigation, Ms. Pava’s experience with class action defense, e-discovery, trials, and arbitrations offers companies a sense of reassurance in knowing she’ll provide ideal outcomes.
Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Pava served as a senior associate at a large national law firm in its litigation, consumer class action, and antitrust practice groups. Based out of the firm’s Washington, DC office, she was responsible for managing all facets of consumer-related litigation in both federal and state courts, including Federal Trade Commission (FTC) investigations and actions brought under the Telephone Consumer Protection Act.
Ms. Pava began her legal career clerking for the Honorable Lawrence P. Fletcher-Hill, Circuit Court for Baltimore City. She then practiced with an international law firm within the antitrust/competition, mass tort, and consumer protection groups. During this time, Ms. Pava represented plaintiffs in nationwide class actions, including those brought by NFL players suffering concussion injuries.
Ms. Pava is a frequent author for numerous publications, including Law360, Thomson Reuters, and Bloomberg. Before attending law school, Ms. Pava worked as a newspaper reporter, where she reported on education at the local and statewide level.
