Prior to joining the firm, Ms. Ali worked for the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy as a government affairs intern. In this position, she was responsible for tracking, reviewing, and analyzing state and federal legislation related to managed care pharmacy, and writing regulatory comments on topics such as drug pricing, methods to facilitate market competition, and the opioid crisis.
While pursuing her law degree at George Mason University, Ms. Ali clerked for a DC-based law firm. In this capacity, she conducted legal research and drafted memos on issues concerning health care provider compliance with federal and state laws, regulations, standards, and policies, pursuing focus areas such as Medicare and Medicaid policy and Long-term acute care hospitals (LTCHs). She also worked to resolve third party problematic (delayed, denied, or underpaid) claims from payers such as Medicare, Medicaid, Managed Care Organizations, Commercial, Blue Cross, employer groups with ERISA plans, and others.
Ms. Ali is a registered nurse and previously worked on a medical-surgical floor in a DC hospital. Noori has basic medical code training and experience with hospital IT systems including EPIC Portfolio, EPremis, Medipac, Midas, and Aegis.
