The Biden administration plans to initiate rulemaking requiring all Head Start and Early Head Start teachers and staff to receive COVID-19 vaccination in an effort to allow schools to open safely.

The Office of Head Start expects Head Start programs to begin in-person services nationwide, no later than January 1, 2022.
