Friends of the Superior Court of the District of Columbia Back to School Bash

Held the week before school starts in August, Friends of the Superior Court of District of Columbia invites children in foster care to a party to celebrate the beginning of a new academic year. At this year’s event FTLF’s Family Law Partner, Katie O’Rourke and more than 75 children and their caretakers celebrated back to school with a DJ, face painting, crafts, pizza and ice cream. Thanks to the generosity of donors, each child left with a backpack filled with new school supplies.  Click here for photos and more information on the event.
