On September 13, FTLF attorney Derek Adams will present at the Maximus Annual Higher Education Meeting in Nashville, Tennessee. Derek will present on the False Claims Act, and specifically the Department of Justice’s use of the False Claims Act to pursue universities for allegations of research misconduct. Derek will also talk about new requirements related to the disclosure of foreign influence in research, and how a failure to meet these requirements could result in False Claims Act allegations.
