This week, FTLF Senior Counsel Phillip Escoriaza will participate in the Region II Head Start Conference in San Juan, PR. Both of his sessions will be conducted in Spanish.

On Tuesday, November 15, Mr. Escoriaza will present “Head Start Grant Management 101,” from 8-9:30 a.m. AT. During the session he will provide an overview of key grant management requirements and concepts fundamental to proper administration of a Head Start award.

On Wednesday, November 16, Mr. Escoriaza will speak on “Head Start Human Resources Fundamentals,” from 8-9:30 a.m. AT, and address governance, background checks and qualifications, compensation and time and effort requirements, internal investigations, data management and privacy, and other key issues of effective program personnel management.
