FTLF Attorneys to Present at the Head Start Region IV Annual Training Conference
FTLF attorneys Nicole Bacon, H. Scott Johnson, Jr, and Ted Waters will present at the Head Start Region IV Annual Training Conference and Expo taking place February 15 – 18, 2022 in Atlanta, Georgia.
Ms. Bacon, Mr. Johnson, and Mr. Waters will conduct a pre-conference workshop, Head Start Personnel Policies and Procedures: What Should Head Start Leadership Consider in Reopening?, on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, 9:00 a.m. – 3:30 p.m. ET. The interactive training will highlight important issues for Head Start human resource professionals, including updating policies and procedures, complying with background check requirements, and meeting staff qualifications.
FTLF Manager Partner Ted Waters will deliver the Public Policy Luncheon address on Tuesday, February 15, 2022, at 11:30 a.m. ET. During his presentation, Looking Ahead: Head Start Projections for the Next Twenty Years, Ted will explore what Head Start programs should consider now to be best positioned to meet future challenges.
On Wednesday, February 16, 2022, at 1:30 p.m. ET, Ms. Bacon and Mr. Johnson will present a session, Update on the Head Start COVID-19 Masking and Vaccine Directive,discussing the status of the Office of Head Start’s Interim Final Rule requiring masking and vaccination for Head Start programs across the country.
