FTLF Attorneys to Present CAPLAW Webinar on Federally Qualified Health Centers

By , | Published On: September 21, 2020

Reductions in funding and reimbursement have made it increasingly challenging for Community Action Agencies (CAAs) to furnish critical outpatient health care services. For many CAAs, becoming a federally qualified health center (FQHC) or affiliating with an existing FQHC can be an effective strategy to achieve financial stability, reach new patient populations, and expand access to a broader scope of services.

On Friday, FTLF attorneys Ted Waters and Carrie Riley will host the Community Action Program Legal Services Inc.’s (CAPLAW) attorney network webinar. This upcoming webinar will provide useful guidance regarding the wide range of collaborative opportunities for CAAs to partner with FQHCs. In addition, Mr. Waters and Ms. Riley will address the process for achieving direct FQHC designation.

The Spectrum of Federally Qualified Health Center Opportunities: From Direct Designation to Collaboration is scheduled for Friday, September 25, 2020, from 12:00 pm – 1:30 pm ET.  You can register for this complimentary webinar on CAPLAW’s website here.
