Eugene R. (“Gene”) Fidell, FTLF Of Counsel, recently spoke with Matt Lauer on the TODAY Show about his pro bono representation of Army Sergeant Bowe R. Bergdahl. Sgt. Bergdahl has returned to active duty in a desk job at a Texas base. An Army investigator is expected to question him about the circumstances leading to his disappearance and capture by the Taliban.

During the interview, Gene, who teaches military justice at Yale Law school, noted that while Sgt. Bergdahl is proud to be serving his country again, “I think he’s ready for the next chapter.”
