The Health Law practice group has expertise enabling us to assist a wide range of post-acute and long term care (PAC/LTC) providers. In terms of provider payment, we offer expertise in the Medicare requirements of participation for long term care facilities and home health agencies, as well as federal and state law concerning services furnished to dual-eligible (Medicare-Medicaid) beneficiaries. We also counsel Programs for All-Inclusive Care of the Elderly (PACE) on Medicare-Medicaid payment and PACE program requirements. The firm additionally counsels providers in designing and implementing policies relating to compliance programs, emergency preparedness, and infection control and prevention. In the managed care realm, we advise PAC/LTC providers in negotiating provider agreements with Medicare Advantage organizations and Medicaid managed care organizations.
