After practicing family law at one of the largest Los Angeles-area law firms, Cierra brings expertise in resolving high-conflict child custody cases, non-traditional custodial arrangements, domestic violence, relocation issues, and complex financial support issues to metro Washington, DC clients. Cierra passionately advocates for families, and helps clients make wise co-parenting and child-centered decisions as they plan for their lives both during after divorce.

Cierra parlays her experience as a trial lawyer to prepare her cases with diligence. She familiarizes clients with the legal stages of a divorce or custody matter and talks frankly with them about the strengths of their positions and likely outcomes before counseling clients on making any significant decisions. Cierra knows from experience when the most fruitful time to discuss settlement during the progression of a case and works with clients to devise creative and personalized solutions.

An analytic thinker, Cierra quickly assimilates clients’ situations to guide them on a positive path forward. She assures them that with the right tools and choices they can be effective co-parents, preserve the things they’ve built in their lives, and achieve a new phase of well-being in the future.

Cierra is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University Dickinson School of Law. While in law school she worked at a family law clinic representing low-income clients and obtaining restraining orders. Cierra serves clients in Washington DC and Virginia.
